Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shiroi Neko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neko comes into the arena with Machine Head - Halo blaring out of the sound system. Reid is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Don't Save Us From The Flames. This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reid ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Neko moves away.
Reid changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Neko moves away from the strike by Reid.
Reid slips a straight right by Neko.
Neko slips under a jab.
Neko takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Reid looks to land a right hand but Neko moved out of range.

Neko drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Neko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Neko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Neko trying to control but Reid is working from the bottom.
Neko slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Reid is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Neko has hold of Reid's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Reid tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Neko cranks the arm and Reid screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Reid, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
