The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nunes manages to avoid it.
Nunes looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Sakurai lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Sakurai misses with a few strikes there.
The fight stays on the outside here - Nunes looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Sakurai drops back looking for a leg! Nunes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nunes manages to kick Sakurai off! Sakurai jumps back into Nunes's guard.
Nunes wants to sweep but no luck.

Nunes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sakurai. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Nunes seems a little lost for a moment, as Sakurai dominates the positioning.
