The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Giudarelli misses with a takedown attempt - Hughes sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Giudarelli shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Giudarelli dives in and grabs Hughes's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hughes pushes down on Giudarelli's head and hops out.

Hughes lands a big uppercut and Giudarelli crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Giudarelli looks OK. Hughes waves Giudarelli back to his feet!

Hughes lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Giudarelli is looking to close the distance but Hughes sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Giudarelli crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Giudarelli is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
