Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ras Butten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Riformato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Butten comes to the ring accompanied by Apoptygma Berzerk - Fade to Black. Riformato comes into a darkened arena with his song building. psycho kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ras Butten has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riformato tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Butten swivels and escapes.

Butten clinches.
A right handed body shot lands from Butten.

Butten has Riformato pressed up against the ropes. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Butten pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Riformato tumbling to the mat - Butten dives into Riformato's guard.

Riformato thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Butten drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Riformato manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Butten has Riformato in his guard.

Riformato drops back, looking for a kneebar! Butten looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Butten looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Butten!

Riformato is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
