Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Mercado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cook's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cormega - built for this. Mercado has chosen CKY - Flesh Into Gear as his entrance music. Diego Mercado is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Diego Mercado!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mercado with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cook to score with a decent uppercut.
Mercado gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Mercado tries to clinch but Cook moves out of range.
Mercado tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cook paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Cook takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cook is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mercado takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Cook lands with a nice body punch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fighters circle momentarily. Cook darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mercado is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Mercado tries to clinch but Cook is having none of it.
Cook lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Mercado at a distance.
Diego Mercado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cook throws a good cross that connects.
Cook lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Mercado closes the distance and clinches up with Cook, looking for a takedown. Mercado pushes Cook against the cage but Cook circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Mercado looks gassed!
Cook dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Cook has Mercado pushed against the cage.
Cook lands a nice uppercut.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cook is pressed up against the cage. Mercado has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Cook down to the mat. Cook avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Cook is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Cook lands a right hook to the body.
Cook lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Mercado takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Cook connects with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mercado ducks right into an uppercut from Cook.
Cook is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Cook throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Mercado colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Cook as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Mercado is left battered and dazed whilst Cook and his camp cheer!
