Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Blake Rush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Blanche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rush stuffs the takedown attempt from Blanche. Blanche gets slowly back to his feet.
Blanche misses with a takedown attempt - Rush sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Blanche throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rush's waist but Rush gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Blanche off to one side.
Blake Rush has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Blanche.
Rush clinches up with Blanche and pushes him back against the cage.
Rush turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rush manages to end up in side control.
Blanche is trying to get back to half guard.
Rush wants to lay and pray for a moment but Blanche keeps working.

Rush is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Blanche is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rush closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rush lands in his opponent's guard.
Rush wants to stand but Blanche is controlling his posture from full guard.
