The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos blocks a head kick by Pereira.
Pereira throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Dos Santos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pereira circles away.
Pereira tries to bum rush Dos Santos with a series of wild strikes but Dos Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pereira gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Dos Santos counters with a nice double leg into side control. Pereira won't be happy with that.
