Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paulo Guido (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Arlowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guido gets a clinch.

Come on Guido - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Arlowski wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Guido lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Paulo Guido.
Arlowski is looking to chop away at Guido's legs.
Arlowski misses with an attempted mid kick.
Guido throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Arlowski.
Guido feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Arlowski sprawling to the canvas! Arlowski rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Guido finish him?!
Arlowski is rocked!
Guido darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Arlowski's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Guido before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Paulo Guido!
