Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lincoln Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masahiro Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Mack. Masahiro Yamamoto looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto shoots in for a takedown but Hawk shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hawk lands with a slapping head kick.

It looks like Masahiro Yamamoto has been cut.
Yamamoto looks gassed!

A jab-cross combination lands for Hawk and sends Yamamoto crashing to the mat! Hawk follows him down to the mat - Yamamoto regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Yamamoto throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hawk not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
It looks like Hawk is going to stand back up.

Yamamoto looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Yamamoto has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hawk frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Yamamoto is trying desperately to improve position.
Hawk working away from the top, dropping strikes.

Hawk has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Yamamoto's face.

That has opened up Masahiro Yamamoto's cut even more.

Yamamoto is bucking up trying to escape but Hawk cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Masahiro Yamamoto's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Masahiro Yamamoto's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
