The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Monson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Gordan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Gordan cracks Monson with an open hand slap.
Gordan misses with a wild body shot.
Gordan misses with a jab, cross combination.
Gordan stuns Monson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Gordan connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Monson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gordan defends it nicely.
Monson on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Gordan cracks Monson with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Monson falls to his knees and Gordan doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
