The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pilsgaard is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.

Evans throws a lazy right hand but Pilsgaard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A left lands for Evans.

Evans rushes Pilsgaard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Evans avoids the head kick by Pilsgaard.

Evans seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Pilsgaard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
