On his way into the cage it seems that Kal El has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kal El seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Render walks into a stiff left hand from El.

It looks like Matthew Render has been cut.
El scores with the left hand. Render knows he should have avoided that one.

Render drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Render in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
El regains half guard.
Render throwing shots but El is blocking nicely.
El looks like he's trying to stand up.
El is holding on to half guard well.
El blocking the ground and pound attempt from Render.
Render thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
El landing small, sideways elbows.
El pushes Render off looking to stand but Render dives back in and keeps control.

El kicks Render off and gets back to his feet.
Render looks up at the clock. Bad move! El lands a right hand from hell, dropping Render. El pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
