Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Xv Jobber vX (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janko Krnjak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krnjak tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jobber vX tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Krnjak swivels and escapes.
Jobber vX fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Krnjak avoids it really well and circles away.
Krnjak should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Krnjak closes the distance and clinches.
Krnjak lands a damaging elbow.
Krnjak will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jobber vX up against the cage.
A left hand lands to the body for Krnjak.
Jobber vX tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Krnjak just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Xv Jobber vX. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Krnjak has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Jobber vX regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Krnjak seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Jobber vX knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Krnjak on the ground.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Krnjak decides to stand and escape the position.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Krnjak takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Krnjak changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jobber vX looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Jobber vX seems a little lost for a moment, as Krnjak dominates the positioning.

Despite being in the dominant position, Janko Krnjak just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

A bit of stalling here from Krnjak.

Krnjak pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Krnjak closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Krnjak stands up and beckons Jobber vX to his feet.

Krnjak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jobber vX gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Krnjak is working for a guillotine from mount but Jobber vX frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Jobber vX tries to pull guard but Krnjak holds him up against the cage and eventually Jobber vX drops back down to his feet.

Jobber vX jumps guard but Krnjak stands there with Jobber vX around his waist. Jobber vX gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Krnjak ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Krnjak no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jobber vX postures up in Krnjak's guard and throws a big left but Krnjak blocks it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Krnjak has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Krnjak is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Jobber vX is in a horrible position here. Krnjak smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Janko Krnjak has got the better of the ground game so far.

Krnjak is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Jobber vX is forced to tap! Great finish!
