The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Gold as Ferreira shoots in.
Gold misses with a two punch combination.
Gold rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ferreira moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gold throws a nice looking combination but Ferreira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Ferreira is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ferreira lands a head kick!
Ferreira looks gassed!
Gold drops Ferreira with a right and a left! Gold comes rushing in but Ferreira regains his composure and manages to keep Gold in guard.
Ferreira is rocked!
It looks like Leandro Ferreira has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gold gets to his feet and stands over Ferreira, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Ferreira felt that one! Gold unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Ferreira from any more punishment!
