The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Butler moves out of range of the strikes.
A nice combination there by Hawkins.
Nice sprawl there from Hawkins as Butler shoots in.
Hawkins lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Butler tries to bum rush Hawkins with a series of wild strikes but Hawkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hawkins is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Butler had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

Hawkins might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Hawkins fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Oh Butler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Butler takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hawkins throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Butler on the side of the head.
