Mcnutty kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Steve Earle: Way down in the hole. halilbasic is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by bruce lee theme. hasan halilbasic looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
halilbasic lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
halilbasic looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mcnutty fails with the takedown.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Mcnutty is defended easily by halilbasic.
Mcnutty uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from halilbasic.
halilbasic fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mcnutty.
Mcnutty closes the distance and clinches.
Mcnutty has had enough of the clinch but halilbasic keeps him there for the moment.
Mcnutty wants a takedown but no success here.

Mcnutty turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Mcnutty manages to end up in side control.

hasan halilbasic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mcnutty pulls guard effortlessly.
Mcnutty keeping moving, preventing halilbasic from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcnutty pulls halilbasic in close to prevent any damage.

Mcnutty has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Mcnutty is looking to stand up but halilbasic isn't so interested in that idea.
Mcnutty looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Mcnutty is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

halilbasic has hold of Mcnutty's hands but Mcnutty slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mcnutty in particular looking to stall.

Mcnutty rushes halilbasic and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Mcnutty has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed halilbasic clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

halilbasic looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Mcnutty connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for halilbasic to escape the position.

Mcnutty has got one arm under halilbasic's chin. This could be trouble... halilbasic trying to control the other hand but Mcnutty gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, halilbasic has tapped out! The fight is over!
