Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between OJ Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryce James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Ja Rule feat. Fat Joe & Jadakiss - New York. OJ Black could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bryce James's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, OJ Black!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bryce James!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Black tries to avoid it but James manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Black to the ground. Black escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Black is fending him off so far but James persists. Nope, Black circles away and we're back to standing.
James moves away from the strike by Black.
Black throws a shot from downtown. James moves away and avoids it.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from James.
OJ Black has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryce James.

James displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Black throws out the jab.

James stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Black on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Black tries to get out of the position.

James thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

James is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

James is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Black can't fight it off and eventually James manages to take the fight to the floor. Black looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

James wants to take his opponent's back but Black doesn't allow it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

James moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Black has worked his arm free - good work by Black!

James working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
James has knee on belly and moves into mount.

James is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Black has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Black!
James lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Black!

James is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Black can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

James has hold of Black's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Black manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Black is working to get back to half guard.

James working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

James swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Black is now in James's guard. A big mistake from James there, giving up the dominant position!

Bryce James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Black has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
