Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Kain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John scapula (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Robert Kain has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Robert Kain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, John scapula!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kain moves into the clinch.
Kain cracks scapula with a nice body shot.
scapula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
scapula is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Kain gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Kain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

scapula tries to keep at a distance but Kain has taken the fight into the clinch.
Kain lands a shot to the body.
Kain scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Kain lands a body punch.
A short right from Kain on the inside.
Kain presses scapula against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
scapula looking for a takedown.
Kain is pressed up against the cage. scapula has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kain down to the mat. Kain avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Robert Kain has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John scapula.
scapula shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from scapula.

Kain has closed the distance and engaged scapula in a clinch.
Kain lands a shoulder strike.
scapula is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

scapula throws a strike but Kain rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Kain gets to his feet - scapula follows without any prompting.
scapula misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Kain leaves scapula with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Kain gets a clinch.
Kain lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Kain lands a body punch.

Still in the clinch, Kain scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kain lands with a short punch from the clinch.

scapula is rocked!
Kain softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
scapula is still on wobbly legs! Can Kain finish him?
Kain lands a body punch.
Kain stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Kain creates a bit of space for himself and rocks scapula with a big uppercut! scapula tries to clinch up but Kain pushes him back against the cage and lands another moster strike that crumples scapula to the mat! scapula covers up and Kain unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
