Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mark Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and johnny dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Stewart!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, johnny dunham!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
dunham is looking to clinch.
johnny dunham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by dunham or perhaps it was just good defense by Stewart which made him look bad.
Stewart shoots in but dunham avoids the takedown attempt easily.
dunham ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stewart moves away.
dunham throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
dunham fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stewart gets the takedown into side control.

dunham explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
dunham misses the shot to the body.
dunham shoots in and drives through. Stewart sprawls well.
dunham displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Stewart.
Stewart takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


It looks like Mark Stewart has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A combination from dunham does no damage.
Stewart dodges the punch combination from dunham.

Stewart looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for dunham!

Stewart tries to control but dunham wriggling away.
Stewart takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Stewart is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
dunham tries to land a leg kick but Stewart saw it coming and moves away.
Stewart showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from dunham.

Stewart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Stewart has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

dunham looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Stewart controls from within his opponent's guard.
dunham keeping moving, preventing Stewart from controlling successfully.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stewart postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Stewart wants to stand and escape but instead dunham has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
dunham won't allow Stewart to get back to his feet.
Stewart is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
dunham won't allow Stewart to sweep him here.
Stewart keeping moving, preventing dunham from controlling successfully.
dunham stands and throws Stewart's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Stewart takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Stewart prevents dunham from improving position.
dunham wants to lay and pray for a moment but Stewart keeps working.
Stewart is trying to control dunham's posture but dunham avoids it.
dunham throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
dunham throwing strikes but Stewart manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Stewart cracks dunham with a big elbow.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stewart wants to lay and pray for a moment but dunham keeps working.
Stewart staying calm.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Stewart dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mark Stewart's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Stewart throws a head kick that half lands.
Stewart has his takedown stuffed

and dunham holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Stewart jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as dunham walks away with a smile on his face. Stewart gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Stewart clinches up against the cage.
Stewart jumps guard but dunham stands there with Stewart around his waist. Stewart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Stewart. That's going to take a lot out of him.
dunham has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
dunham tries to circle away but Stewart has him pinned against the cage.

Stewart pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stewart doesn't manage to clinch there - dunham circles away.
Stewart lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
dunham is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

dunham misses with a body kick.
dunham just misses with a punch to the body.
dunham is breathing heavily.

Stewart shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches dunham napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Stewart working the ground and pound but dunham is defending the strikes.
dunham is trying to escape the position but Stewart is controlling the position.
dunham pushes Stewart away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Stewart gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Stewart works to advance to full mount. dunham defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Stewart trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Stewart postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. dunham looks a forlorn figure.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
dunham is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Stewart looking for a guillotine from mount but dunham is having none of it.

Stewart looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
dunham gets back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
dunham is looking for a sweep. Stewart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
dunham trying to hold on to Stewart's head to control him but Stewart postures up.
Stewart passes to side control.
dunham wants to get back to his feet but Stewart drags him back down.

Stewart is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. dunham looks calm but he's in trouble here. Stewart gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. dunham is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Stewart lets go of the hold and dunham can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:01 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mark Stewart!
