Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Lara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and SPideR RicO (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lara comes to the cage accompanied by 'I Stand Alone' by Godsmack. RicO has chosen Let THE BODIES hit the FLOOR! as his entrance music. Alexander Lara has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lara misses with a low kick.
RicO looks for a takedown but Lara sprawls well.
RicO tries to close the distance and clinch but Lara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lara throws a push kick but RicO slaps the foot to one side.
Lara missing with a left hand there. RicO was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Lara looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
RicO wants to control but Lara is keeping busy.
RicO is trying to stand.

RicO manages to escape and get back to his feet!

Lara decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
RicO is trying to control but can't.
RicO gets full guard.
Lara postures up in RicO's guard and throws a big left but RicO blocks it.
Lara trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
RicO is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lara looking to sit in guard and control but RicO gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Lara looking to hit a scissor sweep but RicO is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lara throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Lara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but RicO can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

RicO has taken the fight to the clinch.

RicO breaks the clinch.
RicO slips a jab and a cross from Lara.

RicO scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lara is breathing heavily.
RicO tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Lara.

Lara landing small, sideways elbows.
RicO wants to get back to his feet.
RicO prevents Lara from standing back up.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
RicO uses his free foot to push down on Lara's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Lara.
RicO takes Lara's back.
RicO keeps control of the position easily here as Lara tries to buck him off.

RicO is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Lara knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Lara for a finish.
Lara avoids the strikes from RicO.

RicO has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Lara is in real trouble here. RicO gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Lara is tapping out! RicO wins by rear naked choke!
