The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rut shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wallace as he avoids it easily.

Wallace closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Wallace decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Wallace lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Wallace fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Rut sprawls well initially but Wallace persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wallace wants to stand up but Rut has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Rut lands a couple of sideways elbows.
Wallace tries to stand but can't do so whilst Rut controls his leg.
Rut is trying to maintain the position but Wallace is very close to passing his half guard.

Wallace changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rut looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Wallace shoots for a double leg takedown but Rut sprawls well. He's pushed Wallace's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Wallace has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Rut tries to keep at a distance but Wallace has taken the fight into the clinch.

Wallace looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Rut sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Wallace is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

Wallace wanted to stand there but Rut had control of the position.

Wallace decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rut, up you get!
