The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a takedown into Aikava's guard.
Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Aikava is looking for a triangle but Silva pushes his legs off easily.
Silva drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Silva jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Aikava is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Silva wants to control from the top but Aikava keeps moving.
Silva passes Aikava's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Aikava has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Silva is working away from the top position though.
Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Aikava is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Silva maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Aikava could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Silva has cracked it and Aikava is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Silva!
