Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Turk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that David Turk has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily David Turk seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Turk.
Turk throws the left hand but Rodrigues avoids the punch easily.
Rodrigues looks for a takedown but Turk sprawls well.
Gabriel Rodrigues seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turk defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rodrigues.
Rodrigues takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Turk stuffs the takedown attempt from Rodrigues. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet.
David Turk has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gabriel Rodrigues.

Turk drops Rodrigues with a beautiful combination! Rodrigues stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Turk is looking for the KO!

Turk jabs Rodrigues right on the nose. Rodrigues blinks but takes it well.
Rodrigues fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Rodrigues displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Turk throws out the jab.
Rodrigues shoots in but Turk avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Turk lands the left hand.
Turk misses with a looping left.
Rodrigues has a takedown stuffed.
Turk throws a shot from downtown. Rodrigues moves away and avoids it.

Turk feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Rodrigues sprawling to the canvas! Rodrigues rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Turk finish him?!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Turk connects with a stiff jab that staggers Rodrigues - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
