Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hadr Bari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chaz Michaels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michaels slips a jab and a cross from Bari.
Bari leaves Michaels with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bari throws a right hand that Michaels ducks under and follows up with a left that Michaels also avoids with ease.

Michaels shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Michaels is working for a submission of some sort.
Michaels trying to mount his opponent but Bari defends it.

Michaels stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Bari to get to his feet.
Bari throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Bari throws a right hand that Michaels ducks under and follows up with a left that Michaels also avoids with ease.

Bari takes a swing at Michaels's ribcage but misses.

Bari clinches with his opponent.

Bari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bari looks to score with a jab to the body but Michaels is just out of range.
Bari misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bari misses with a two punch combination.
No joy there for Michaels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Michaels has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Bari misses with a hook.
Bari misses with a looping right.

It looks like Hadr Bari has been cut.

Bari gets caught flat footed, as Michaels shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bari is breathing heavily.
Bari is looking to stand up but Michaels isn't so interested in that idea.

Michaels drops back looking for a leg! Bari is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bari manages to kick Michaels off! Michaels jumps back into Bari's guard.
Michaels stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bari swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Michaels forces his way into half guard.
Bari is trying to escape back to his feet but Michaels uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Bari wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Michaels advances to full mount.
Bari tries to buck Michaels off but he can't manage it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Michaels swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bari is now in Michaels's guard. A big mistake from Michaels there, giving up the dominant position!
Bari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Michaels on the ground.
Bari wants to stand and escape but instead Michaels has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Michaels thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bari kicks Michaels off and gets to his feet.
Bari fails to land with a series of punches.

Michaels tries to keep at a distance but Bari has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bari breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bari throws a left and a right that both miss

and Michaels decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bari's guard.
Michaels trying to control the position from guard on top but Bari is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bari wants to stand but Michaels is controlling the position.

Michaels decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Bari, up you get!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Bari throws a left and a right that both miss

and Michaels counters with a single leg into guard. Bari didn't expect that.
Bari is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chaz Michaels dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Hadr Bari's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Michaels bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Bari tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Bari controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.

Bari is trying to defend against the choke here but Michaels has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Michaels Tightens the hold and Bari taps out furiously! Michaels displays superior BJJ to win the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Chaz Michaels!
