Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Chad Carlson Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jokke Mela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlson Jr's entrance music is Muse- Stockholm Syndrome. A fine choice. Chad Carlson Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mela cracks a nice hook into Carlson Jr's ribs.
Carlson Jr uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mela.
Mela missing with a left hand there. Carlson Jr was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Mela has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Carlson Jr's face.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
