Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mark Misirlou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blue Spoka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Misirlou's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Drake- Over. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Misirlou!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Blue Spoka!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Atkins and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misirlou fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Misirlou looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Spoka is fending him off so far but Misirlou persists. Nope, Spoka circles away and we're back to standing.

Misirlou feints and as Spoka raises his hands in defense, Misirlou changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Misirlou won't allow Spoka to get back to his feet.
Misirlou trying to control but Spoka is working from the bottom.
Misirlou prevents Spoka from getting back to his feet.

Spoka pushes Misirlou off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Misirlou changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Spoka tries to avoid it but Misirlou manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Spoka to the ground. Spoka escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Misirlou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Misirlou leaves Spoka with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Spoka defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Misirlou.

Donk. Spoka catches Misirlou right on the button with a cross.


It looks like Mark Misirlou has been cut.
Blue Spoka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Misirlou fails with an attempt to clinch.
Spoka just misses with a punch to the body.

Spoka shoots in and bounces Misirlou off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.

Misirlou escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Spoka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Spoka is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Spoka passes Misirlou's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Spoka looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Spoka is looking for a kimura but Misirlou is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Spoka to get the leverage.

Misirlou actively working from the bottom here.
Spoka is trying to control the action in half guard but Misirlou is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Spoka is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Spoka looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Spoka looks gassed!

Spoka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Misirlou is just riding it out for now. Spoka eventually gives up the hold.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spoka prevents Misirlou from improving his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
The fighters circling - Misirlou throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Misirlou fails to land the takedown.
Spoka throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Misirlou tries for a takedown but Spoka circles away easily
and Spoka counters with a nice body shot.
Spoka stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Spoka looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Misirlou looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Spoka!
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Misirlou misses with a head shot.
Misirlou thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Misirlou lands with some strikes.
Misirlou throwing shots from mount but they're not landing.
Misirlou can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Spoka is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Blue Spoka dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mark Misirlou's cut.
That's time! Misirlou's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Spoka connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Spoka is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Misirlou shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Spoka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Misirlou has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Misirlou there as he acknowledges the shot.
Misirlou slips a jab and a cross from Spoka.
Spoka pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Mark Misirlou is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Spoka misses with a hook. Misirlou ducked under it nicely.
Misirlou misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
No luck for Misirlou with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Misirlou. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab from Spoka finds it's way through Misirlou's defenses.
A slow jab from Spoka misses its intended target.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Misirlou steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Spoka.
Spoka tries to bum rush Misirlou with a series of wild strikes but Misirlou uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Spoka smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Misirlou uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Spoka.
Spoka fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Misirlou looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Misirlou tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Spoka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


Misirlou is rocked!
Spoka drops Misirlou with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Misirlou! Spoka dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Blue Spoka!
