The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Hioki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Drake is trying to get back to half guard.
Hioki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Hioki has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Drake is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Hioki yanks on the arm and Drake is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Hioki.
