Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jan David Morta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kc bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
bones moves out of range of the body kick.
Morta pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Morta misses with a straight left.
Morta shoots in but no luck this time.
Morta tries to clinch but bones is having none of it.
Morta will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Morta shoots for a double leg takedown but bones sprawls well. He's pushed Morta's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

bones unloads with some shots from mount but Morta bucks and avoids them well.

Despite being in the dominant position, kc bones just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

bones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Morta doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Morta manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Morta thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Morta shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Morta wants to break the clinch but can't.
bones is pressed up against the cage. Morta has hold of a leg and is looking to drag bones down to the mat. bones avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Morta is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Morta looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out!
