Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reach Disadvantage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe has chosen whatsername, and does she remember my name? as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Doe!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Disadvantage connects with a nice looking jab.
Disadvantage misses with a kick to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Disadvantage.
Doe checks a leg kick.
Doe defending well as Disadvantage loads up on a big left hand.
Disadvantage misses with a hook. Doe ducked under it nicely.
The fighters circling - Disadvantage throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Doe leaves Disadvantage with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
A punch combination from Doe misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Disadvantage throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Doe stuffs the takedown.

Disadvantage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doe can pounce on him.

Reach Disadvantage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Doe ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Disadvantage really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Disadvantage chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doe can pounce on him.
Disadvantage throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Doe counters with a stiff right hand.

and Doe counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Disadvantage isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Doe stacks Disadvantage on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Doe!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Doe works to advance to full mount. Disadvantage defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Disadvantage is wriggling around trying to escape.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Disadvantage wants to control but Doe is having none of it.
Disadvantage tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Disadvantage flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Doe dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Disadvantage throws a hook to the side of Doe's head but Doe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Doe on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Disadvantage throws a lazy right hand but Doe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Disadvantage misses with a straight left.
Doe pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Disadvantage misses with a hook. Doe ducked under it nicely.
Disadvantage takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Disadvantage tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Doe counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Disadvantage's guard now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reach Disadvantage. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Disadvantage looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Doe passes into half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Doe in particular looking to stall.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Disadvantage is trying to maintain the position but Doe is very close to passing his half guard.

Disadvantage throws his legs up looking for a submission but Doe uses it to pass to side control.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Doe gets to mount! Disadvantage was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Disadvantage is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Disadvantage tries to hold on but Doe postures up.
Disadvantage is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jon Doe showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Doe bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Disadvantage's head backwards.
Disadvantage is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Doe ducks under a wild hook from Disadvantage.
Jon Doe is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Disadvantage throws out a loose jab but Doe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Reach Disadvantage has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Doe moves out of range as Disadvantage strikes.
Disadvantage throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Disadvantage looks to throw the jab but Doe is out of range.
Disadvantage throws an overhand right that lands on Doe's shoulder, as Doe tries to avoid the shot.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
You can see the frustration on Disadvantage's face as Doe controls the position.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jon Doe comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Doe has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
