PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sammy Alpaca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thomas Moore told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sammy Alpaca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thomas Moore!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Alpaca is looking to clinch.
Moore throws a series of punches but Alpaca avoids them all with ease.
Alpaca fails with a takedown attempt.
Moore misses with a jab, cross combination.
Moore wants to land a leg kick but Alpaca is out of range.
Alpaca has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moore finds it's way round the side to connect with Alpaca's head.
Alpaca fails with the takedown.
Moore turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Alpaca closes this distance looking for a takedown but Moore circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sammy Alpaca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Moore lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A slapping leg kick lands for Moore.
Alpaca is breathing heavily.
Moore bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Moore misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alpaca.
Alpaca loses concentration momentarily and Moore pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Alpaca crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Moore finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
