Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Taylor Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Taylor Ryan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wells gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Ryan is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ken Wells will probably get the nod.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Wells is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Ryan doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Wells.

Wells is working for a kimura but Ryan is defending it quite comfortably.
Ryan really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wells. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Wells, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
