Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Xavier Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Lionel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Xavier Hernandez has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Lionel!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hernandez lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lionel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lionel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lionel sprawls well. Lionel wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hernandez gets slowly back to his feet.

Lionel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hernandez has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lionel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hernandez could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lionel got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hernandez has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lionel has managed to get both his arms back between Hernandez's legs - danger averted.
Lionel stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hernandez swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hernandez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lionel gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lionel is looking to work some ground and pound but Hernandez has wrist control.

Hernandez wants to control from the top but Lionel keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hernandez walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Lionel checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Lionel is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Hernandez to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Hernandez shrugs it off.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lionel has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hernandez to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Lionel is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hernandez pulls down on the head and he's put Lionel to sleep! This one is all over!
