Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zed Zelonka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alvaro Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zelonka on the wrong end of a nice jab.

It looks like Zed Zelonka has been cut.
Perez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Zelonka looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Perez!
Perez is looking to improve his position but Zelonka isn't that keen on the idea.
Perez is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Zelonka wants to control the pace but Perez is squirming around nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Perez can do anything to dispel that myth.
Perez tries to hold on but Zelonka postures up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Perez tries to hold on but Zelonka pushes him away.
BOOM! Zelonka connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That has opened up Alvaro Perez's cut even more.
Zelonka controlling the pace for now.
Zelonka looking to ground and pound but Perez is blocking nicely.

Zelonka wants to finish this one by submission but Perez is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Zelonka.

Zelonka is working for a guillotine from mount but Perez frees his head quite easily.
Perez tries to hold on but Zelonka pushes him away.
Zelonka throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Perez is desperately trying to improve his position but Zelonka has a good base and remains in mount.

Zelonka swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Perez is now in Zelonka's guard. A big mistake from Zelonka there, giving up the dominant position!
Zelonka is breathing heavily.
Zelonka can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Perez controls the pace.

Perez seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Perez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zelonka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Zelonka moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Perez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zelonka.
Perez keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Perez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Perez throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Perez connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Perez sends Zelonka crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Perez is motioning to the referee to let Zelonka up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Zelonka is rocked!
Perez throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zelonka stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oh Zelonka is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Zelonka circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Perez. Zelonka falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Perez!
