Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Cline (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Maleady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Maleady is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Maleady shoots in looking for a takedown. Cline tries to sprawl out of it but Maleady keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cline manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Cline throws a nice looking combination but Maleady bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
No joy there for Cline, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Maleady has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Cline regains guard immediately.
Cline can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Maleady controls the pace.

Maleady drops back looking for a leg! Cline is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cline manages to kick Maleady off! Maleady jumps back into Cline's guard.
Maleady is pushing down on Cline's leg trying to pass to half guard. Cline is fighting to maintain full guard but Maleady has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cline knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Maleady on the ground.
Maleady has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
