Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abdual Jemall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Abdual Jemall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Josh Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Sergei Dronov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jemall shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Jemall misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gracie scores with a head kick.
Jemall avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jemall dives in and grabs Gracie's left leg, looking for a takedown. Gracie pushes down on Jemall's head and hops out.
Jemall takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Gracie tries to clinch up but Jemall circles away and keeps his distance.
Jemall looks for a takedown but Gracie sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abdual Jemall. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jemall tries to keep at a distance but Gracie has taken the fight into the clinch.

Jemall gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jemall stops Gracie from getting back to his feet.

Gracie makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Gracie moves into range and clinches up with Jemall.
Jemall drops down looking for an ankle pick but Gracie pulls his leg out and moves away.
Gracie scores with a one two! Jemall had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Jemall circles away from the clinch attempt.
Jemall throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gracie's waist but Gracie gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jemall off to one side.
Jemall tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Gracie throws a nice head kick!
Gracie lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Gracie tries to clinch there but Jemall circles away.
Gracie misses with a double jab

and Jemall counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jemall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jemall trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Jemall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Jemall throws a strike but Gracie rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Gracie wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Jemall's closed guard. He's half up but Jemall has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Jemall pivots and extends the arm, Gracie falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Jemall! Well done that man!
