Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Steve Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilkka Wasama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasama has chosen The Prodigy - Take Me to the Hospital as his entrance music. Ilkka Wasama is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ilkka Wasama!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a right and a left that both miss.
Smith thows a body shot but no joy.
Smith misses with a straight right.
Smith smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Steve Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith throws a body punch but Wasama moves out of range.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wasama was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Smith lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wasama circles away quickly and effectively.
Smith punishes Wasama's body with a nice straight punch.
Smith lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

It looks like Ilkka Wasama has been cut.
Smith throws out a loose jab but Wasama uses good head movement to avoid it.
Smith cracks Wasama with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The crowd cheers as Smith lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wasama doesn't seem phased though.

Wasama is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith lands with a nice body punch.
Wasama is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith misses with a wild body shot.
Wasama seems to have recovered his senses.
Donk. Smith catches Wasama right on the button with a cross.
Smith looks to land a combination but Wasama avoids it well.
Smith tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wasama was well out of range. Poor timing from Smith.
Smith connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wasama. Wasama circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Wasama can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Smith and Wasama drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Smith.
