Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Coligado!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coligado shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Coligado wants to lay and pray for a moment but Inoue keeps working.
Inoue tries to get to full guard but Coligado has control of the leg.
Inoue works his way to full guard. Good work.
Inoue looking to control.

Inoue looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Coligado puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Inoue keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Coligado is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.

Coligado wants to control from the top but Inoue keeps moving.
Coligado tries to free his leg and advance position but Inoue is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Coligado fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Inoue lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Coligado is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Inoue tests Coligado's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Inoue is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Coligado's half guard.
Inoue looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Coligado with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Inoue wants to take a breather but Coligado is having none of it.
Inoue drops an elbow to the side of Coligado's head.
Inoue content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Coligado wants to control but Inoue is keeping busy and won't allow it.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Inoue connects with a nice short shot to Coligado's temple.
Coligado looks gassed!
Inoue not doing much here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Inoue has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Coligado wants to control but Inoue is having none of it.

Inoue landing strikes from the mount.
Inoue working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

Inoue breaks from Coligado's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Coligado really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Coligado takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Inoue could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Inoue is working for a guillotine from mount but Coligado frees his head quite easily.

Inoue tries to control but Coligado wriggling away.
Inoue is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Inoue working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Inoue has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Inoue is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Coligado can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Inoue postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Coligado looks a forlorn figure.

Inoue loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Coligado scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Inoue land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Inoue stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hiroto Inoue!
