Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bud Weiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weiser scores with a jab to the jaw.
Weiser avoids a punch combination nicely.

Weiser closes the distance and pushes Hardy back into the cage.
Weiser lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Hardy manages to break the clinch.
Weiser throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Weiser tries a low kick but Hardy avoids it.
A jab lands there for Hardy.

Bud Weiser seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Weiser throws a hook to the side of Hardy's head but Hardy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Hardy lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Weiser backs up against the cage.
Oh Weiser is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hardy drives through and clinches with Weiser against the cage.
Weiser seems to have got his legs back now.

Hardy pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Weiser throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

and Hardy counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Hardy fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Weiser, pushing him back against the cage.

Some bone on bone action there as Hardy checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hardy looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Weiser stuns Hardy with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Weiser catches Hardy with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Hardy throws a leg kick that misses.

Hardy drops Weiser with a right and a left! Hardy comes rushing in but Weiser regains his composure and manages to keep Hardy in guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Weiser is working an open guard so Hardy takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Weiser looks to throw the jab but Hardy is out of range.
Weiser throws a series of punches but Hardy avoids them all with ease.
Hardy tried to score with a low kick but Weiser checks it.
Michael Hardy is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Hardy tries to bum rush Weiser with a series of wild strikes but Weiser uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Hardy lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hardy.
Hardy throws a push kick but Weiser slaps the foot to one side.

Hardy closes the distance and clinches.

Hardy escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hardy throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Weiser colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Hardy as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Weiser is left battered and dazed whilst Hardy and his camp cheer!
