Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between pete jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sehanine Moonbow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sehanine Moonbow is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones scores with a crisp jab that stopped Moonbow in his tracks.
A big left from Moonbow misses.
jones misses with a wild combination.
Moonbow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Moonbow moves into the clinch successfully.
Moonbow has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed jones clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
jones covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
jones tries to roll but Moonbow sticks to his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moonbow lands an elbow to the side of the head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Moonbow really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for jones .

Moonbow lands a punch to the side of the head from the back.
jones tries to roll but Moonbow sticks to his back.
Moonbow is trying to stick to jones 's back but jones is turning into Moonbow. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Moonbow's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by jones .
Moonbow is pulling down on jones 's head to control his posture.
jones drops back looking for a leg! Moonbow is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moonbow manages to kick jones off! jones jumps back into Moonbow's guard.
Moonbow is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Moonbow throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Moonbow is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
jones is looking to pass into half guard but Moonbow pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Moonbow is in guard.
jones can't keep his opponent in guard - Moonbow advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Moonbow decides to return to a standing position.

Moonbow is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in jones 's half guard.

Moonbow looks gassed!
jones is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Moonbow scores with a couple of nice shots.
jones is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Moonbow's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Moonbow's back!

jones looking to break Moonbow's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Moonbow remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise jones will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Moonbow is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get jones off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Moonbow cracks jones with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Moonbow can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as jones is looking to escape.

That's time! jones 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

and Moonbow counters with a nice double leg into guard.
jones lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moonbow!
jones goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Moonbow turns into him and now he's in jones 's guard.

jones wants to sweep but no luck.
Moonbow is breathing heavily.
jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moonbow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Moonbow wants to control from the top but jones keeps moving.

Sehanine Moonbow has got the better of the ground game so far.
Moonbow is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Moonbow would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
jones misses with a takedown
and Moonbow counters with a nice uppercut.
jones lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Moonbow counters with a shoot takedown. jones fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for pete jones . That's going to take a lot out of him.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now jones is on top in guard.
Moonbow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Moonbow manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Moonbow sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Moonbow might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control jones kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
jones sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
jones wants to pass to mount but Moonbow is defending the position.

jones swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Moonbow is now in jones 's guard. A big mistake from jones there, giving up the dominant position!
Moonbow lands a couple of decent looking shots.

jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moonbow gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Moonbow in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Moonbow wants to control from the top but jones keeps moving.
jones looking for a triangle here. Moonbow is fighting it but it looks tight! jones pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Moonbow is tapping out - this one is all over!
