PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Grigor Borisov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hero Tasaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Borisov throws a hook but Tasaki avoids it easily.
Borisov throws a right and a left that Tasaki avoids nicely.
Tasaki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Borisov's waist but Borisov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tasaki off to one side.
Borisov tests Tasaki's chin there with a solid looking shot.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tasaki shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Borisov but Borisov pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Tasaki feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tasaki has gone for a leg lock! Borisov slips out almost immediately though and dives into Tasaki's guard.

Tasaki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Borisov gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Borisov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tasaki wants to sweep but no luck.
Tasaki will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Tasaki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Borisov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tasaki had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Borisov defends it easily.
Borisov wants to stand but Tasaki has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tasaki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Borisov gets to his feet - Tasaki follows without any prompting.

Tasaki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Borisov tries to avoid it but Tasaki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Borisov to the ground. Borisov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
