Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Robert Henry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Logan Creed!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Henry.

Henry gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Creed to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Creed trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Creed trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Henry wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Creed manages to pass to side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Creed seems to be looking for submissions.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Henry throws a lazy right hand but Creed sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
No joy there for Henry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Nice takedown defense from Henry. No joy for Creed on that attempt.
Creed avoids the body shot from Henry.

Creed closes the distance and pushes Henry back into the cage.
Creed stalling against the cage.
Creed tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Creed trying to land knees to the body.
Henry tries to break the clinch but Creed is controlling the position.
Henry wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Creed pulls guard effortlessly.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Creed looking to hit a scissor sweep but Henry is one step ahead there.
Henry tries to free his leg and advance position but Creed is retaining full guard.
Creed throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Henry tries to stand but Creed is controlling from the bottom.

Henry avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Creed bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Henry's guard.
Creed slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Henry tries to buck Creed off but Creed is having none of it.
Henry is not content to let Creed control the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Creed controls the position.
Henry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Creed on the ground.

Creed working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Creed throwing strikes but missing, from side control.

Creed thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Creed is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Henry is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Henry is looking for a sweep.

Creed looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Creed tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Creed tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Logan Creed dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Henry throws a right and a left that both miss.

Creed shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Henry is trying to defend but Creed finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Creed is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Henry has managed to free his arm - good work.
Henry trying to control but Creed postures up.
Creed tries to pass the half guard into mount. Henry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Creed trying to control the action but Henry is working from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Creed moves into full mount! Henry won't be happy about that!
Henry holds on for dear life.

Creed working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Henry turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Creed off and cradles Henry's limp body as Creed celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Logan Creed!
