Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Just Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and benon benon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Case changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Case fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. benon sprawls well initially but Case persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
benon won't allow Case to pass to mount.
benon misses with some strikes from the bottom.
benon gets back to full guard.
benon has his hands on Case's head, controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Case postures up in benon's guard and throws a big left but benon blocks it.
benon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Case manages to get himself to full guard.
Case keeping moving, preventing benon from controlling successfully.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

benon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Case wants to get back to his feet but benon is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Case closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming benon to the mat! benon manages to get full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Case stands and steps away. benon gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Case is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. benon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

benon is squirming around, avoiding Case's attempts to control the action.
benon is working to get back to half guard.
benon wants to control but Case is having none of it.
benon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
benon is wriggling around trying to escape.
Case takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
benon tries to hold on but Case pushes him away.

Case seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down benon for as long as he can get away with.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Just Case just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
