Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hannu Hanhi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Koivu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koivu is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome Home - Coheed and Cambria. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koivu throws a body punch but Hanhi moves out of range.
Koivu thows a body shot but no joy.
Koivu steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hanhi.
Vincent Koivu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koivu connects with the punch.

It looks like Hannu Hanhi has been cut.
Koivu misses with a body kick.
Hanhi scores with a three punch combo!
Koivu avoids the head kick by Hanhi.
Koivu throws a lazy right hand but Hanhi sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Koivu just misses with a punch to the body.
Hanhi lands with a nice body punch.
Hanhi takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Koivu looks to land a left hand but Hanhi moved out of range nicely.

Koivu throws a body punch but Hanhi moves out of range.
Hanhi swings for the body but Koivu moves out of range.
Koivu lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Hanhi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Hanhi on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Koivu misses with a wild body shot.
Koivu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Hanhi swinging wildly here.
Koivu tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hanhi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Koivu looks gassed!

Hanhi lands a left and a right that send Koivu crashing to the mat, dazed. Hanhi thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Koivu is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hanhi moves away from the strike by Koivu.
Koivu is still on wobbly legs! Can Hanhi finish him?
Hanhi is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Koivu flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Koivu is out cold! Hanhi holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
