The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jaw shoots in for a takedown but Miller shows good takedown defense.
Jaw looks to land a combination but Miller avoids it well.
Miller doesn't manage to clinch there - Jaw circles away.
Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jaw swats him away and circles back towards the center.

It looks like Cody Miller has been cut.
Jaw shoots in and bounces Miller off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jaw stands and steps away. Miller gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Jaw bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Jaw lands a nice forearm strike.
Miller tries to escape but Jaw is in control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Miller can do anything to dispel that myth.
You can see the frustration on Miller's face as Jaw controls the position.
Jaw's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Jaw in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Miller is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
