PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wu Tang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juzz Dunz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wu Tang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Juzz Dunz!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dunz shoots in for a takedown but Tang shows good takedown defense.
Horrible takedown by Dunz or perhaps it was just good defense by Tang which made him look bad.

Dunz scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Tang misses with a strike from the bottom.
Dunz trying to control the position but Tang is working away.
Dunz throwing shots but missing, from side control.
Dunz looks up at the clock and then as Tang takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Dunz smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Tang tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Dunz laying and praying for a moment but Tang takes advantage and regains half guard.

Tang is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dunz pulls his head out easily.

Dunz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tang wants to control but Dunz is keeping busy.
Dunz thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tang's head.
Dunz throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Dunz wants to pass the guard but Tang is defending well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Tang staying out of range there.
Tang shoots in but no luck this time.
Dunz misses with a takedown attempt

and Tang counters by clinching up.
Wu Tang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juzz Dunz.
Dunz has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tang is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Tang's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

and Tang decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dunz's guard.
Dunz looks gassed!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dunz is on top in guard.

Tang throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Dunz escapes and throws Tang's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Dunz has an Americana. Tang didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Dunz is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Dunz hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
