Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mikko Tuho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fua Niqua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tuho might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Marilyn Manson - Fight Song. Mikko Tuho is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niqua throws a head kick that misses.
Niqua tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Tuho looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tuho slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Niqua looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Tuho looking to pass the guard.
Tuho works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Niqua tries to roll over but Tuho keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Tuho in particular looking to stall.

Tuho is working for a submission of some sort.

Niqua wants to get back to full guard.
Niqua trying to control but Tuho postures up.
Niqua is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tuho blocks a head kick by Niqua.
Tuho keeps the fight on the outside.

so Tuho counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Niqua looks gassed!
Tuho stays in close to Niqua's body and controls the position.
Tuho passes Niqua's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Tuho is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Niqua has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Tuho is working away from the top position though.
Niqua wants to improve his position but Tuho is controlling well.
Niqua is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Niqua trying to get back to full guard but Tuho takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Tuho content just to control the position here.
Niqua is trying to escape the mount.
Tuho takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Niqua tries to reverse the position but Tuho maintains control.

Tuho slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Tuho avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Niqua is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tuho is sitting in close to Niqua's body. Niqua has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tuho is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tuho is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Niqua.
