Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry O Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Ricardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Leary comes into the arena with one day like this blaring out of the sound system. Ricardo is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bang the Drum All Day. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Leary lunges at Ricardo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ricardo's hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

O Leary closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ricardo to the mat! Ricardo manages to get full guard.
O Leary wants to control from the top but Ricardo keeps moving.

O Leary throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ricardo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
O Leary tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ricardo swats him away and circles back towards the center.

O Leary rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ricardo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

O Leary lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
