The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Daniels lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Charan throws a series of punches but Daniels avoids them all with ease.
Charan misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Charan is trying to force a seperation but Daniels has the dominant position.

Daniels gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Charan gets caught flat footed, as Daniels shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Charan isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Daniels stacks Charan on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Daniels!

Daniels thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Daniels tries to free his leg and advance position but Charan is retaining full guard.

Daniels is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Daniels postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Charan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Daniels doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Daniels manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Charan manages to work his way to half guard, despite Daniels's best efforts.
Charan pushes Daniels off looking to stand but Daniels dives back in and keeps control.

Well Daniels has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
