Bonds comes to the cage accompanied by Live And Let Die. Thompson has chosen Thats Entertainment - The Jam as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Paul Tew and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonds tries to close the distance and clinch up but Thompson swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Thompson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thompson swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bonds throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Thompson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Thompson thows a leg kick but Bonds checks it
and Bonds counters with a head kick. That will keep Thompson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Bonds checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Thompson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Thompson throws a chopping leg kick but Bonds manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Thompson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Thompson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thompson scores with a head kick.

Thompson closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bonds to the mat! Bonds manages to get full guard.
Bonds is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Thompson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bonds looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bonds looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bonds!

Bonds stands up.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Thompson lands a damaging elbow.

It looks like Billy Bonds has been cut.
Bonds lands a shoulder strike.
Thompson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Bonds or not.
Thompson lands an elbow that stopped Bonds in his tracks for a moment.
Bonds is breathing heavily.
Bonds doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Thompson lands a knee to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thompson is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Thompson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Thompson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bonds moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Thompson.
Bonds moves out of range as Thompson strikes.

Thompson gets a clinch.
Thompson scores a nice knee to the body.
Thompson scores with a hook to the body.

Thompson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Billy Bonds is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Thompson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Bonds blocks a leg kick.
Bonds tries to clinch but Thompson is having none of it.
Thompson scores with a shot to the body.
Bonds takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Thompson throws a leg kick

and Bonds counters by clinching up.
Bonds's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
A right hook to the body lands for Thompson.

Thompson breaks from the clinch.
Thompson throws a nice outside leg kick.

Thompson lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Bonds is rocked!
Thompson lands a jab to Bonds's midsection.
Oh Bonds is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bonds doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Thompson lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Thompson pushes Bonds away with a front kick.
Bonds seems to have got his legs back now.
Thompson fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bonds looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Bonds takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Thompson is looking to clinch.
Thompson connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Thompson has managed to clinch.
Thompson lands an elbow just above Bonds 's eye.
Thompson lands a nice elbow.
Thompson blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Thompson drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Bonds gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thompson buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bonds drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Thompson throws a monster overhand right that drops Bonds! Thompson follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
