Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Monty Pop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and GEORGES STPIERRE (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). STPIERRE has chosen LOSE YOURSELF as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, GEORGES STPIERRE!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Pop - just one landing.
GEORGES STPIERRE seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pop fails with a takedown attempt.
STPIERRE is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pop lands a left and a right that send STPIERRE crashing to the mat, dazed. Pop thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

STPIERRE is rocked!

It looks like GEORGES STPIERRE has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A combination from STPIERRE does no damage.
STPIERRE tries to score with a low kick but Pop moves his leg out of the way.
Pop displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from STPIERRE.
STPIERRE throws a head kick that misses.
STPIERRE with a poor takedown

and Pop counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Pop jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as STPIERRE walks away with a smile on his face. Pop gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Pop swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pop connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
STPIERRE misses with a takedown

and Pop counters with a nice right hand that sends STPIERRE toppling to the canvas! STPIERRE scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Pop finish him?!
STPIERRE is still on wobbly legs! Can Pop finish him?
Monty Pop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of GEORGES STPIERRE.
Pop stuffs the takedown attempt from STPIERRE. STPIERRE gets slowly back to his feet.
STPIERRE seems to have recovered his senses.
STPIERRE looks gassed!

Pop pushes STPIERRE up against the cage in a clinch.
Pop tries to circle away but STPIERRE has him pinned against the cage.
Nice body punch from Pop - that landed with a thud.

Pop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pop lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and STPIERRE falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
